TagLinker encapsulates all the tag's information within the tag itself. The tag's own UI will display this information on any documents containing the tag. To provide such information, TagLinker indexes your tag's spreadsheets, scans and OCRs your documents, and links all the tags found in them. TagLinker's search engine is tag-based, meaning you can search directly for a tag's name and get the tag's information in seconds. This information includes the tag's data, a list of associated linked documents accessible by clicking on them, the part number, and all vendor documents, also accessible by clicking on them. If the tag is connected to a field controller, such as a PLC, the real-time value (read/write) will also be available.
TagLinker will index all your tag's spreadsheets, allowing it to recognize the tags that need to be scanned in your documents during the OCR process. For TagLinker, everything is a tag—your document file names, process instruments, equipment, wires, cables, drawing references, part numbers, and more. You just need to browse and click the sheets you want to index in your file systems. We currently support Google and Microsoft ecosystems, with the ability to develop support for other ecosystems or data sources on demand.
TagLinker will scan, OCR and detect all the tags in your document, then TagLinker will create a HTML file of your documents with all the tags on it. The HTML file is called a TagLinker document, when the document will be loaded, all the tags become clickable, once you click on the tag, this tag will get linked to all its associated data. The TagLinker document will be saved in your file's system. TagLinker do not keep any of these documents.
Viewing a tag's information is very simple and URL-based. You just need to type the tag's name. For example, typing '/view/TAG123' will display the tag's information, and '/view/TAG123/PID' will display the PID document of the tag. This URL approach allows you to integrate the tags into your own application easily.
If you don't remember the tag's name, use the search engine. Search simply will auto-complete your tag's name, you just need to type a few letters or numbers.
Two Plans are available to use TagLinker. The first Plan is free but limited. The second Plan is limited by the amount you pre-paid.
