Linking
Before linking your documents, you need to have indexed your documents list otherwise, TagLinker will denied to start the linking process, see indexing. for details. The indexer is creating the tags database, the more the database is complete, the more precise linker will find your tags.
Linking consists of scanning your PDF documents using powerful imaging and OCR technologies. TagLinker find all the tags in the documents matching the tags database. If a tag is fractional, incomplete for some reasons such as the scan quality of the PDF, TagLinker will try to guess and complete the tag, we call this a "fragtag" situation.
Once the linking process is completed, the document will be saved as an interactive HTML document on your cloud. When you open such document, it will get linked to all the associated spreadsheets having these tags and make the tag's information available right on your document via a simple point and click interface.
See the example below, this is a excerpt of a P&ID, Linker scans all the text in the document (drawing) compare them against the tags database and keep only the tags matching the database
TagLinker do not keep your PDF files, once the linking process is done, the PDF is purged.

Linking is a very simple and straight forward step, see the Linking video guide below
