Free Trial
Introduction
TagLinker offers a free 30-day trial that provides a limited but useful glimpse into the application's capabilities. Since TagLinker is a B2B (Business-to-Business) application, this trial is limited to professionals who are currently working on various projects.
As we use Google Cloud Platform (GCP), we have to pay for the resources our free trial instances use. Because we are a very small company, we unfortunately cannot afford to host a large number of free trials at the same time, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Free
The trial is free but limited ressources are available.
Viewer
The viewer use virtual CPU memory via the cloud Run technology by Google, again we will pay Google for your viewer usage. Therfore, we have no choice to limit your viewing requests to limit the cost we need to pay for your usage.
Indexer
The indexer is limited for the same reason we limits the viewer. We do not keep your tags information in our server, we keep them on your browser database. Therefore, we you make a linker request, we need to put these tags in your HTTP request payload to proceed with the linking of your documents. Having a big payload is not recommended performance and cost wise.
Linker
The linker is limited for the same reason we limits the viewer. The linker require extensive CPU processing and memory and need to be limited to reduce our cost.
Sharing
The Taglinker application is the same and share for all the free users, therefore, this is not perfect performance wise, do not expect great performance using the free trial. However, app instances auto scaling is enabled which helps. The subscription version give you a private and unique isolated application just for you so, you will get much better application performance.
Database
We use your browser database to keep your tags information. The browser database is married with your device meaning the browser database is not the same for your PC, tablet or phone. You need to try the free trial on a single device or a single domain we may say. The subscription version use a local and remote database and the database will be synchronize between your devices automatically.
Real-time values
Real-time values are not available for the free version. Real-time values involve more extensive developement and additional interface libraries to connect to your Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Internet of Thing (IOT) devices.
